New Beginnings

Fit Into Your Life

Here it is! 90 days of organization, orchestration and most importantly, dedication.
This is time to practice what I've been preaching.  It's going to be a great journey, re-connecting with the emotional side of this program.  It's been one thing to run proceedings from the safety of an email account, but now I'm diving back in the deep-end, whilst maintaining all my other responsibilities; this will be the true test, to find my own personal winning formula.

I'm excited, but wary...of all the hard work ahead of me, of having to say "no" and make compromises, yet still excited because I know that very soon that the rhythm of life will shift and that mindful state will prevail.  I'm already fit, aerobically, 3 RPM classes a week plus the odd run will do that for you, but I don't feel strong. Without daily attention that core strength diminishes and the glue that keeps the frame intact needs constant application... if I'm to stay injury free, develop my tennis game and hit some PBs this Sprint Triathlon season. There, I said it! The goal is to be strong and fast. We like fast.

Day 1 Weight = 188lbs

My leanest in recent times was 176lbs but I was super skinny then. The aim is to hit a similar body fat percentage, around 6%, but bulk up to a solid 182lbs or so. Too precise? Definitely. This is vanity talking, I'm going to work hard for 90 days and eat smart, that's it.

The FIYL tribe is growing, some reFIYLers have been joined by 4 newbies.  We're a team of 8, STRONG!
A real good group to kick-off 2013, I'm really looking forward to it.
